Joseph Niemann

Vice President - IT

Joseph Niemann serves as Vice President, Information Technology for Brazos Midstream, where he leads the company’s IT strategy, cybersecurity initiatives, change management processes, security regulations compliance, and enterprise technology systems. He joined Brazos in 2024 and brings more than 25 years of IT experience, including over 15 years in the energy industry. 

Prior to joining Brazos, Niemann served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Jetta Operating Company, a privately held oil and gas company with operations throughout the United States. During his tenure, he led the company’s IT strategy, cybersecurity programs, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise systems management, supporting both field and corporate operations. He also played a key role in scaling and modernizing the company’s technology infrastructure while maintaining a strong focus on operational reliability, business continuity, and data security. 

Niemann earned a Bachelor of Science in information sciences and technology from Pennsylvania State University.
