As Permian Basin crude oil production continues to climb – and with it the natural gas associated with that crude – moving the resource to end-users becomes increasingly challenging.
To handle the growth in output will require all hands-on-deck – from the largest national carriers to smaller privately-held carriers. All are making moves to accommodate more production.
Brazos Midstream, one of the largest privately held midstream companies operating in the Permian, is in the midst of expanding its operations.
Founded in 2014, the company began its operations in the southern Delaware Basin, which at the time was lagging the Midland Basin in terms of activity and infrastructure, according to William Butler, chief financial officer and a founding partner of the company.
