Revenue Accountant

Brazos Midstream is seeking a Revenue Accountant to add to the team. This newly created role will assist with the full cycle of monthly accounting closing procedures as well as assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports.

Assignments will include:

• Closing procedures
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • Perform analysis for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate status & coordinate across functions
  • Other projects as assigned
• Reporting
  • Prepare monthly customer settlement statements
  • Reconcile customer balances
  • Support annual audit effort
  • Ensure cash is applied correctly

Required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Basic knowledge of oil & gas industry
• Oil and gas midstream or upstream experience is a plus
• Current CPA license is a plus
• Revenue accounting experience is a plus

Other requirements:

• Need to report to the Fort Worth, TX headquarters office
• Possible travel as needed (expected to be less than 5%)
