Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team. The Finance Associate will support financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating and reporting financial data. This position will also assist with a wide variety of activities primarily related to budgeting, corporate finance, and other strategic initiatives. The position will have regular exposure to the senior management of the company.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process for the company
- Prepare project economic models and presentation materials for the executive team and board of directors
- Collaborate with business development, engineering and operations departments to evaluate potential growth and optimization opportunities
- Assist in M&A analysis and modeling
- Prepare financial and operational reports for the executive team and board of directors
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and support other finance-related projects
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-3 years of corporate or investment banking experience
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and cross-functionally with other departments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
