Brazos Midstream and Old Ironsides Energy Partner to Pursue Midstream Investments
FORT WORTH, Texas—Fort Worth-based Brazos Midstream Holdings, LLC (“Brazos”) today announced that it has partnered with Old Ironsides Energy, LLC (“Old Ironsides”), a leading independent oil and gas investment manager, to pursue the acquisition and development of midstream assets in the United States. The Brazos management team possesses broad energy experience across all commodities and throughout a variety of onshore U.S. basins and will initially focus on the development of crude and natural gas gathering, treating and processing assets.
Brazos’ management team is led by its four founding partners who have a track record of successful execution in the energy industry. The team includes Chief Executive Officer Brad Iles; Chief Financial Officer William Butler; Chief Commercial Officer Stephen Luskey; and Chief Operating Officer Ryan Jaggi.
Prior to Brazos’ formation, Mr. Iles served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for EnLink Midstream Partners, formerly Crosstex Energy (NYSE: ENLK). Mr. Iles led all of EnLink’s business development efforts for both the Natural Gas and Liquids Business Units. Mr. Butler joins the Brazos team having previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Athlon Energy Inc. (formerly NYSE: “ATHL”) until the company was acquired by EnCana Corporation in November 2014. Mr. Luskey most recently served as Regional Vice President for EnLink Midstream and was responsible for Permian business development activity including the development of EnLink’s Midland Basin platform. Having worked in both the upstream and midstream sectors, Mr. Jaggi’s energy experience includes the engineering, project management, and operations of all wellhead, gas gathering, treating, processing, and liquid handling facilities. Prior to founding Brazos, Mr. Jaggi served as Vice President of Engineering for Wildcat Midstream.
